1. Introduction

The Amara Centre is committed to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion across all areas of our work.

We believe that every person affected by cancer should be treated with fairness, respect and dignity.

Cancer can affect anyone. However, people may experience different barriers when accessing information, support and services due to factors including financial circumstances, disability, location, social circumstances, cultural background or other forms of disadvantage.

The Amara Centre exists to reduce some of the practical and financial barriers that can accompany cancer. We are committed to ensuring that our organisation reflects the values of compassion, dignity, respect and inclusion.
